Used to measure head height Dims & block deck height - this tool is Plastic. Use this tool with a 1-2" guage, zero the guage on the block surface off the piston. once it is at zero move the tip of the guage anywhere on the piston and move the piston to top dead center and read the measurement. You may have to rock the piston back and forth to find the final number. This tool is also great for other head dim's. This tool is made of solid aluminum and anodized blue - this is a professional grade tool. does not come with guage.
