For your engine to run right you have to tune it with the carb jet. Here are all the different sizes you will need. Go to the track and keep testing one way or the other until you fall off on performance. Jetting is critical for the air temp up or down one size.
If you are using fuel additives you may need to up one size on the jet. If you are tuning on gas lean is mean but when too lean the engine will get hot and die. This is how you know you went too far. You wont hurt the engine it just gets hot and wont start until it cools off. change the jet one size bigger and you will be dialed in.
Jets are available from .027 to .036 - check your spec sheet to see what you have.
